Aloha! Welcome to the State Children's and Youth Specialist page.
I work within the Office of Buddhist Education and serve as a liaison between the youth and the Hawaii Kyodan. Coordinating and hosting many statewide events, I am involved with the Federation of Junior Young Buddhist Associations and its annual State Conventions, the Young Enthusiastic Shinshu Seekers (Y.E.S.S.) Camp, the Junior Young Enthusiastic Shinshu Seekers (Jr. Y.E.S.S.) Camp, and the Young Adults Retreat.

As the Specialist, I am also involved with the State Youth Religious Awards (S.Y.R.A.P.) Program with the Dharma School and the Office of Buddhist Education Commissioners.

I am always looking for new ideas or concepts that can be used for the benefit of the Hongwanji youth. I also want to bring the Hongwanji's youth and young adults into the Hongwanji's mainstream. I am open to any and all ideas along these lines.
